I know I am very lucky to have caught one. This summer is the first time I have fished them in a long time. I will make sure I go a handful of times each year now. it is great fun and a completely different experience from fishing the other fish I go after. Hey Robert,

I have yet to catch my first salmon but then again I only started fishing them about 1 yr ago and have not been up to the salmon fishing areas yet this year. Summer is almost gone and I have not had time to escape up there. I favour the Renous near McGraw Brook (the old campground) as it is easy to get to and easy to fish. Keep up the good work and the stories coming. I’ve caught Salmon on the Little Southwest, Main river and the Renous. Some fun……guess that’s why they call them the king of Gamefish! I have caught fish on the bombers but mostly on butterflys.
